A common challenge for many people today is to feel compassion towards themselves and accept their mistakes, their issues and in general that they are not perfect at all times. This lack of self-compassion is a driving force behind burnout and anxiety and one of the main reasons behind sleeping problems of our society today. How to relax when I get stuck in feelings of insufficiency and when my focus is centered around what I could or should have done more or better? Compassion is also what creates peace and harmony among people at any society and at any time. Compassion is what makes us feel less lonely when life´s challenges come our way. In short, compassion is at the center of what it means to be human and to feel that life is worth living.
